University of Peradeniya and British Council MoU Signing Event

We are pleased to share the highlights from the recent signing Event of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the University of Peradeniya and the British Council, held at the Vice Chancellor’s Office on November 5th, 2024. This partnership aims to expand opportunities in undergraduate internships, library services, and professional development for English language teachers.

The event was attended by distinguished representatives from both organizations. The British Council's Country Director and Assistant Manager of the Kandy office represented the British Council. From the University of Peradeniya, attendees included the Vice Chancellor, the Director of the Career Guidance Unit, the Librarian, the Head of the Department of English Language Teaching, and Career Counselors.
